What Are PDF Images

What Are PDF Images

PDF stands for Portable Document Format.  This format was developed by Adobe back in 1992.

A PDF image is a combination of both vector and bitmap graphics.

PDF's are great for exchanging electronic document forms, images and web pages, many use PDF's for reporting.  PDF's make printing and distribution of images easier for the user.  Making it ideal for file sharing in particular or creating pamphlets, brochures and much more.

I often use PDF format designs when I want to set something out to see how it looks and often test print it and use it as a stencil for many of my physical creation in woodwork.

I also like using PDF's to make collections of my creation and file them in one consolidated report.

In particular if I electronic advertisement PDF images are easy to distribute and maintain a high level of quality.
