What is Good Friday?
Good Friday is the day we honour and remember the crucifixion of Jesus.
The date of Good Friday typically changes every year however it is always the Friday directly prior to Easter Sunday.
Good Friday is celebrated by Christians around the world and is regarded as one of the most significant religious dates on the Christian calendar.
The word "Good" in Good Friday means Holy or Pious because this day lead to the resurrection of Jesus where he became victorious over death.
Typically on Good Friday many Christians fast, pray, repent and reflect on the Jesus' agony and suffering which he endured to save us from our sins and grant us internal life in Heaven with God the Father Almighty.
